My husband, Basil and I hiked to Mt. Wilson on Sunday! I don't believe I could have done it a year ago before boot camp! So in the 8 months of Bootcamp, I've lost 10 pounds, several inches (esp. my hips and tush), dropped my body fat by 10% and more importantly my endurance is very much improved. Now my next goal is to get to the top of Half Dome in June.

Success Story: Nicole Rodriguez
Since joining Sierra Fitness Bootcamp in January, 21-year-old Nicole has lost an incredible 170 pounds as of February 2005. Her weight of 300 pounds hindered her energy levels and ability to lead an active lifestyle. When she saw a Bootcamp advertisement in the theatres, Nicole knew that it would jumpstart her weight loss quest. Even though the Bootcamp classes seemed to intimidate her in the beginning, Nicole now thoroughly enjoys the rigorous workouts. The first thing you’ll notice about Nicole during a Bootcamp class is that she is never disillusioned by being the last one to cross the line during a drill. Her instructors know that when she does cross the finish mark, she has given her all to get there.
Nicole has learned to prioritize her workouts as one of the most important parts of her daily routine. She also balances out her Bootcamp routines by doing two to three additional days of cardio and two days of Pilates classes. Diet is another part of her life that she has changed, she has learned to avoid high-fat fried foods, excess starches and sugars. With the way she has dedicated herself to changing her lifestyle we have no doubt she will reach her goals.
